This will be quick
...lots of kids share rooms and I'm guessing the transition didn't drive ALL their parents into therapy. Right?
Read more about our Weekend Of Room Sharing Trauma at Parenting.com today.
(And if you are a Shared Room Transition Veteran I would DEARLY love to hear from you. I've sort of decided that Molly needs to be a more reliable sleeper before we try this again, but I'd still like to know how you handled it.)
Today is Holy Thursday. Arwen just posted about Tridduum Juggling. We are juggling it using a little method we call God Has Mercy On Those With Small Church-Resistant Children. Phillip is staying home with the kids while I go to Holy Thursday Mass with our elderly neighbor. We're switching off for Good Friday Mass tomorrow night. Easter Vigil Mass? What's that? And then we'll head out in the POURING DOWN RAIN for Easter morning. I swear, every year I think about how to look cute on Easter and the weather defies me EVERY TIME.
Anyway, all that to say: no post today. Or, rather, THIS is all you get. Shouldn't you be working on that press release/spreadsheet/database/report/letter/pile of annoying papers anyway? Or, you know, doing your laundry like I should be doing? OKAY THEN.

Good luck with all the Holy Week event juggling. Maybe it wont pour down rain on Sunday morning. Okay, we all know it will, but I'm sure the kids will be adorable anyway. :)

I am TERRIFIED of the Holy Week juggling, especially since we are dealing with the first round of 'sickness since the baby arrived' at our house. Dave (who is never sick) brought it home, and now I have it. So scared about the baby getting it, let alone dragging our sick butts to 3 masses (well, GF service) in 4 days. Still not sure how it's going to happen. Hopefully God will forgive us if we miss some...
The vigil - SOOO not happening with an 11 week old. I feel you.

We aren't even bothering with Holy Thursday or Good Friday Masses. They start at such a weird time that we wouldn't be able to get there early enough for a seat. And bed time for the kids is strictly 7:30pm.
We got a babysitter to go to the Easter Vigil, though. I have to work on Sunday morning, and there's NO EFFING WAY we could take the kids anyway. Even the vestibule and hallways are stuffed with people who are only showing up because it's Easter. Where would we hide with our evil screamers?

I actually finished all the laundry already today, thank-you-very-much. I won't tell you that it was the still unfolded laundry from last week.
I've never made children of my own share a room, but I did make seventeen daycare children nap in the same room. A sleep CD, played moderately loud, to drown each other out.

Okay, so this isn't really about your post (although, finished with spreadsheets for the day, moving on to laundry in a minute.) I just clicked on the article you linked to on Twitter and read it. And I thought: THIS is the kind of thing that makes everyone hate Texas. *sigh* We're not all like that I promise!
