    Important! Items! Of! Interest!

Does anyone else use Typepad? Does anyone else type in one of their other usernames in the User Name field, because sometimes they are absentminded, and because Typepad does not helpfully say, "Your User Name does not match your Password!" or something USEFUL like that, it merely sends you into Blogging Black Hole? Where you SUPPOSEDLY have a blog, but the stats are missing and the posts are missing and this line appears "YOU HAVE NO WEBLOGS IN THIS ACCOUNT". And, if anyone else has done this before, does your heart instantly sink to the pit of your stomach in abject FEAR because WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO WITHOUT YOUR WEBSITE?

Thankfully I figured it out. WHEW.

Which is good! Because I have some things to share!

First of all: for all of you covety types who have been drooling over my snazzy new bag, I think Phillip bought it here. And if you don't have one of those stores, I think you can buy it online here. If I haven't made it quite clear, I looooove my new bag. Yesterday for church I threw 1 cloth diaper, 1 PUL bag for storing used and disgusting cloth diapers until you get home, 1 board book, 1 stuffed puppy, 1 Ziploc bag of puffed cereal, 1 pacifier on one of those pacifier clippy things, 1 burp rag and the rest of my Assorted Purse Items into my snazzy new bag. And left the diaper bag at home. (Dear Diaper Bag: I still love you. You are still my favorite baby item. I just don't want to take you EVERYWHERE. Especially when I am wearing kitten heels and lip gloss. Love, Maggie.)

I have read this article (hat tip: Jen, to whom I must link at least 10 times a week, per my Jen Linkage Quota) about 40 times. Each time something else stands out to me. I forwarded it to a friend who said it was something she needed to read as well. And now I have a whole post brewing on the subject, a post that might actually contain something meaningful and insightful and downright THOUGHTFUL which, as we all know, is not something you usually find on this website.

But it will probably get preempted by a post or seven about TELEVISION because HELLO our beloved writers have RETURNED and life is now worth living again! Whee! Actually, I was nursing my TV-deprived heart with Project Runway and Lost. What about you? I have so loved this season of Project Runway, I think because there wasn't an Evil Designer in the group. Not even twerpy Christian. There isn't any one designer's stuff that I hate and I was so bummed to see Sweet P go. (Not that she didn't deserve to, I mean, did you see the other stuff? Poor Sweet P just can't hang.) I am sort of hoping Chris beats out Rami for the Bryant Park show because COME ON, a Chris collection would be a CIRCUS! On the other hand, Rami can design a dress for me any day. I think I like Jillian's stuff best, while it's almost a certainty Christian will win. Which means the twerpiness is not disappearing any time soon.

And Lost... holy cow, people. How I hate this show and it's dragging on-ness and un-answerable-ness and confusing-ness and then episodes so crazy awesome YOU MUST KEEP WATCHING. The switch to flash forwards was the freshest brightest thing they could have done for this show and suddenly I'm hooked again. I was reading an interview with Evangeline Lilly and she was all, I didn't think there was any more of Kate's story left to tell, but now we have the FUTURE. Precisely. Super cool. Aren't you dying to know why Sayid is working for THE DEVIL HIMSELF?

Oh, and then there is this:

This shirt is size 2T. The shirts that actually fit him say LITTLE Brother. I don't want to hear about it.

Somewhere between 10 and 11 weeks. We heard the heartbeat on Friday. And I feel sorry for you poor readers, because don't think I have a million and a half things I've been storing up to say since I found out...

Congrats on the new baby! Somehow I had a feeling this was your very important item of interest.

Congrats on the big news! Can't wait to hear all about it.

    Yeah! Congratulations!

    Holy Cow! Congrats!

Congratulations - 2008 is going to be another wonderful year for you!

    Congrats!

Congratulations Maggie! I am very excited!

SO happy for you! I'm truly amazed that you kept it quiet for this long. And the 10-11 week age reminds me of these tiny plastic baby models we have for our pro-life displays that are the size of your thumb, but totally humanlike, with fingers and toes and all...and they are the 10-11 week size. Looking forward to hearing about all the pregnancy ups and downs since I didn't start reading you until after Jackson was born. Congrats!

    OH MY GOSH!!!

CONGRATULATIONS!! Holy cow. Maybe I'm just in shock because our kids are the same age and I can't imagine having another one yet. But go you!! How exciting! Jackson will make a fabulous big brother. I can't wait to hear about all the stuff you've been keeping in over the past 10-11 weeks!! (did I use enough exclamation points yet??)

    Oh and Lost. Yes.

EEE!! Lurker delurking to say Congratulations! And to say how happy I am that the writer's strike is over.

Enjoy your new non diaper bag while you can :)Congratulations!

    No way! CONGRATULATIONS!

i gotta say, that thought crossed my mind, too, when i read that you had news! congratulations!!!!

you are absolutely the queen of the cool-as-a-cucumber, sneak-it-in-at-the-end-oh-so-slyly announcement of news. This is not unlike the way you announced Jackson! many, many congratulations.

    YOWZA!!!

How slyly you slipped that in ;-) Congratulations!!!! That's so exciting!

Congratulations! I'm so excited for you!

    Congratulations!!

You're OUT! Hooray! Now I am going to tell everyone I know, even people who have never heard of you. They'll be as thrilled as I am, I know it.

That domestic monastery stuff is going to come in handy when you have TWO kids, you crazy girl.

Mwah! to Jackson in his adorable shirt.

I already told people I know, because unlike Arwen, I can't keep a secret. Actually, it's because the people I told have no idea who you are and don't read blogs (I KNOW), so I thought it was pretty safe.

    Yay! Congratulations!

Hooray! Congrats! You are my hero...seriously.

Congratulations to the three of you (soon to be family of four). An October baby...how Fun!

    Congrats!

    What the....????!!!!!!

FANTASTIC!! Welcome to the 2 under 2 club!! :)

Oh my gosh! Congratulations! I'm thrilled for you!

    Congratulations!!!

Yay for the good news! Hope you are feeling great.

And yeah--PR *needs* the Chris Circus on the runway. :)

    Congrats!
though my first thought was "oh you poor thing! 2 under 2!"
    :0) very exciting!

I was wondering when you were finally going to out yourself! Elatedness abounds! :o)

I'm so excited for you! Not to mention how excited I am that your second and my first will be within months of each other in age and will be BFF, I just know it. We have been having some pretty interesting conversations today about the domestic monastery - I read it aloud to the husband. I'm looking forward to what your thoughts are...

Oh Maggie!! I was all set to ramble on about Lost for a while, but then you went and got all sneaky and threw in that last picture! I'm not even kidding when I tell you you my heart skipped a beat!!

Sigh. You realize that now you are going to make me even more conflicted about childbearing again, because you have the absolute CUTEST dang babies??

    Congratulations!

ohmygosh OhMyGosh, OHMYGOSH!!! Congratulations!!!!!!!!! I am SO happy for you!! And completely without better words than that... but seriously - congrats. Hope this pregnancy is as easy as the last one! :)

    Yayyyyy!!!!!! Congratulations Maggie!!!!

OH MAN HOW DID I MISS THIS?????
Congrats, girl! Glad to know someone else is out there barfing. Actually I'm just starting to feel better, but knock on wood and all that stuff. Hey! You made it SO LONG without telling! GO YOU!

    OMG! Congratulations Maggie!!

wowzers! I go out of town and don't read blogs for a few days and this happens! Congratulations!!! I am so happy for you, and although 2 are harder than one, they're more fun than one too.
