Pictures? Who wants pictures?
In lieu of a post that could be summarized thusly:
When the formula people sent me free cans in the mail I thought, "Gee, that's nice of them, but I'm going to breastfeed so they wasted their marketing money on me." But now I know that the formula people are evil marketing geniuses, because they didn't send those cans of formula to me just so I could try them out. They sent them to me so that in the middle of the night, when I am fairly certain a part of my anatomy is going to turn black and fall off, I will think to myself, "WHY AM I DOING THIS WHEN THERE IS A PAINLESS FOOD DELIVERY SYSTEM RIGHT IN MY CUPBOARD?"
I am going to post some pictures. Because I owe you some pictures. Also because I am dealing with the turning-black-and-falling-off situation fairly well (I think) and the first item on my coping plan is DO NOT OBSESS ABOUT THIS.
How many hands does it take to dress a baby?

That's also ADORABLE. He is so cute!

Despite the black and falling off situation you must be doing SOMETHING right, since Jackson Cheung looks like he could kick Fat the Bunny's fuzzy bottom!

Ditto Emily and ditto Jen.
And uh, black and falling off? That is messed up. You have my deepest sympathies.

Oh, oh, that last photo is to die for cute! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!
They are evil for sending out those cans. One night in the middle of the night I went so far as to open the can and make a bottle. Then I erupted into a heap of sobs with a screaming baby and I threw the rest of the formula in the garbage so I wouldn't be tempted again. (Of course I am not saying by any means that I think formula is wrong, it's just that *I* wanted to make breastfeeding work, and that formula staring at me was not helping me!)
I hope you can get your issues figured out. It takes about 6-8 weeks and then things start to become easier. I hope that is soon for you!

Could he BE any cuter? No I do not think so! Seriously, what a cute, adorable, expressive little boy you have!
And oh yeah I remember that feeling...but thankfully nothing actually ever did, you know, fall off. :-)

I gasped out loud at the cuteness of the third photo, and then I got to the last photo!
And allow me to add my condolences on your blackened appendage. And my wishes that it is not actually black.

3 words... Medela nipple shields. They are wonderful! I have to use them because my baby won't latch correctly, but they will help heal sore nipples too.
Jack is adorable!

What an adorable smile! And, actually, I really like the first photo second best (after the smile one). How many hands does it take? LOL
