In which it is mortifyingly apparent that I spend my entire day with a computer on my lap
SO. Last weekend I did some updatey things to the ole website and warned Twitter not to have a Complete And Total Hissy Fit if I broke the blog. Which I was surely going to do. I just wanted The World At Large to know that I was In Control. I KNEW I was going to break the blog, therefore I would not PANIC when it broke and I would have PROCEDURES in place. I am married to an IT Guy. I know ALL ABOUT procedures!
But then it didn't break! And it only took me two minutes to do my updatey thing! I SWEAR. And you KNOW I boasted about this on Twitter. I was all, "Heeey Twitter, you are lookin' at the brilliantest most good-looking blogger IN THE UNIVERSE." There is no pride like I Didn't Break My Website After All pride.
Of course, it only took a day or so before I received the first "Um, your posts are doing something weird in my feed reader" email and of course it took me until YESTERDAY to 1) decipher what these people were saying and 2) figure out what to do. Perhaps my boasting was a touch premature.
But have no fear, Internet! FOR I HAVE THE ANSWERS.
(I would explain how I arrived at the answers, but you are probably not interested.) (Ahem.)
If you would please update your feed readers with the following link for this blog, I would appreciate it.
http://mightymaggie.typepad.
And, for those of you who are still subscribed to Hot By Thirty, you should update to this link:
http://mightymaggie.typepad.
Actually, your current feed link for Mighty Maggie will still work, I am pretty sure, even though it's not exactly right. And why are you still subscribed to Hot By Thirty? It's very nice of you, but believe me, if I ever update that website again I will TELL you. Probably via much moaning about too many cookies.
AND. For those of you who are so inclined, you are welcome to subscribe to my NEW blog with THIS link:

If that doesn't work, I'm sure you'll let me know. I hope you will, as I obviously have some humbling to do.
And holy CATS I have a lot of websites. And you know what? The reason all of this happened was because I was building a blog and wrangling domains into place for the highly anticipated BLATHERING 2010! Apparently I have nothing else to do!
All right. As you were. I'm going to watch The Biggest Loser and, if the commercials are true to the show, BAWL MY EYES OUT.

Hey you're right - there were funny things going on with your blog in my reader. Hot By Thirty was posting and Mighty Maggie was posting. And sometimes they were the same and I was so confused and all, "is she Hot By Thirtying again?" and wondering just when it was that I went back in time to last year...
At any rate - can't wait for the catholic reading, friend! You've inspired me in my own writing as well. yay!

Yay! Thanks! All fixed!
I never unsubscribe to blogs I like, even when they go defunct, because if they come back I MUST KNOW. THAT INSTANT.

The Blathering 2.0. The thought of that just made my Thursday morning so much better.
